Veryan Parish Council
Veryan Parish is a rural community comprising of the villages of Veryan & Portloe and the hamlets of Carne, Camels, Calendra, Tregenna, Trewatha and West Portholland. It is a picturesque parish bordered by the sea within the heart of the Roseland Peninsula.
Veryan is now at the centre of the parish, having its own Post Office, Pub, Art Gallery, Antique Shop, Guest Houses and Tea Rooms and surrounding small businesses. It has a thriving primary school and pre-school facilities.
There are two community halls, Veryan Sports & Social Club and Veryan Parish Hall, both are which are well used by numerous groups, clubs and societies catering for all ages within the parish and adjoining areas.
