COUNCILLOR AND HELP TO MAKE THE
PARISH A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE?
We need people from all backgrounds and experiences who reflect the
communities they serve to put themselves forward for election. You don’t
need any experience or special qualifications. Your life experience, everyday
skills, passion and commitment to people and communities are vital, and it’s
important that councils reflect the local population.
There is currently a vacancy on Veryan Parish Council.
The council can now fill this vacancy by co-option, which is a process whereby the council
considers applications from interested persons and can then select someone to fill the seat.

Completed declarations must be with the clerk no later than 7pm on Friday, 10th October
2025 or they will not be considered.
Applicants may be required to attend a Parish Council co-option meeting.
